How much does permanent lighting cost?
Permanent architectural lighting runs $27 per linear foot of roofline. A typical home with 150 to 250 feet of roofline lands between $4,000 and $6,750. Add-ons are flat rate: Smart App Control is $500 and a Power box is $200. You can price your own home on our estimate page — real rates, no sales call.
Will the lights survive a hard winter?
Yes. The track and diodes are rated for real winters — freeze-thaw cycles, snow load on the eave and full summer sun on a south-facing roofline. Craftsmanship and lighting are both backed by a 10-year warranty.
How long does the install take?
Most single-family homes are finished in one day. Larger or multi-gable rooflines can run into a second day. We confirm the timeline before we start and the crew cleans the site before leaving.
Can I change the colors myself?
Yes. With Smart App Control you run color, brightness, scenes and schedules from your phone — no ladder, no swapping bulbs. Holiday, game day and accent scenes are built in and ready with one tap.
Is the hardware visible during the day?
The channel is mounted flush to the roofline and color-matched, so from the street it reads as trim. That is the point of a custom install rather than a clip-on strip.
