Do solar attic fans actually work?
They do. Attics trap radiant heat all summer, which drives cooling costs up and shortens shingle life. A solar attic fan runs off its own panel — no added power bill — and continuously pulls that hot air out.
Do you install new solar panels?
No. Kilowash installs solar attic fans and cleans and maintains panel systems already on your roof. We do not sell or install new rooftop arrays.
My panels are producing less than they used to. Is cleaning worth it?
Usually yes, and it is the cheapest thing to try first. Dust, pollen and winter grime cut output measurably. A professional clean is far less expensive than a service call on hardware that turns out to be fine.
Will a fan install damage my roof?
No. Fans are flashed and sealed the same way a roof penetration should be. The crew is licensed and insured, and the workmanship is warrantied.
How long does a solar attic fan install take?
Most installs are a few hours. We confirm placement with you first — fan position matters more than fan count for actually moving air.
