How much production do dirty panels actually cost?
It varies with how long it has been and what has settled. Dust film, pollen and hard-water spotting all scatter light before it reaches the cell, and the loss builds quietly because it never shows up as a fault.
How often should panels be cleaned in Utah?
Once a year suits most homes here. Properties under trees, near fields or close to construction dust usually want twice.
Do you use anything that could damage the glass?
No harsh chemicals and no abrasive pads. Panel glass carries an anti-reflective coating that aggressive cleaning strips, which costs you more output than the dirt did.
Can you take panels off for a roof replacement?
Yes. Removal and reinstall is one of our core Solar Solutions. The same panels go back on once the new shingles are down.
Do you service systems you did not install?
Almost all of them. Our Solar Solutions work is care for existing arrays, whoever put them up.
